About us
Ege Architects is a Turkish Architecture & Design firm based in Istanbul, Turkey focusing on distinctive and comprehensive works of architectural projects. It was established by Eda Ege Öztürkcan in 2011 as a small practice and has been working on various types of projects ever since.Our projects consist of coloborative works with other architecture, engineering firms and other disciplines.
We have ben specializing in residential and housing projects especially. We have extensive experience and know how from a single family home to large scaled mass housing project ranging from buildings of all types and sizes. Small residential projects have acted as testing grounds for experimental ideas that often go on to resurface in larger works. Our housing projects that, above all, respect the human scale, and are also flexible, diverse, innovative, sustainable, social, affordable, and exciting, working at every scale from single family houses to high rise buildings.
Our design method involves clients, stakeholders, real estate developers, private investors and experts from a wide range of fields in the creative process. We are commited to work from preliminary design though all stages in colloboration with engineers and consultants untill the end of construction phase. We provide extensive project documents with full working details as well as project specs as built shop drawings. Implementation of computational new technologies in architectural design is a must nowadays. We use many elements and design tools, computer technology, model making, 3d modelling, material reserch etc..
Our design principle is to create innovative social green realistic and remarkable architecture for a changing World; Integration of sustainable design ideas, energy consumption technologies, engineering systems, green building concepts combinig nature, culture and entertainment for a more sustainable, more social, more liveable future.
